Work-Life Balance

At ILM we realize our work is only part of who we are. We are a family-oriented organization and strive to provide a positive work-life balance for our employees using a whole host of policies that benefit employees and ultimately our clients. While many small businesses constantly battle high turnover rates, the average ILM employee is around for more than 10 years.

Our culture is centered on a few basic ideas:

Growth and Innovation – A mindset of “leaving it better than you found it” is the basis of continual improvement which is necessary for growth and increasing quality objectives.

Accountability – “I am responsible for my own life” translates into pride of ownership and workmanship. Knowing that each person is part of a bigger system means passing the buck isn’t who we are.

Reputation – “All you have is your reputation, don’t wreck it” – So transparency is always a key ingredient for success with our employees and our clients. If we make a mistake, we own it. We fix it and apologize for it.

Sustenance – If someone doesn’t bring in donuts to share at least once every couple weeks, we know something’s wrong.

For over 25 years, my professional career has been working and crafting my vision for ILM. Following several core principles, I realized that our success lay with having the best possible people on my team. Beyond the cliches, I truly believe that hiring the best people, treating them with respect, valuing their contribution to the team, giving them the best tools, including them in both the wins and losses translates to exceptional service and passion to our customers. The great work that we provide to our customers is the result.

Beyond my employees, I foster and care for relationships with partners and vendors who help me to achieve our goals. Many of these relationships span decades, through good and bad times, but our longevity and loyalty in our relationships is our advantage.

Transparency, ownership of the process and outcomes, real communication and collaboration has allowed us to work with many clients for 10, 15 and even 25 plus years. I would consider it a privilege to work with you, side by side, to help you achieve your goals.
