The Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration is responsible for screening airline employees and passengers at more than 500 airports. Each week more than 8 million passengers pass through TSA check points. Adjudicating and communicating with airport and airline staff and passengers opting for PreCheck is a hefty requirement of the TSA. Starting in 2005, TSA required a partner to handle incoming mail, digitization and outbound mailing to the more than 20 million transportation workers and PreCheck passengers.
The Challenge
Our Solution
For the past 20 years, ILM processes approximately 10 different programs. Members of these programs require vetting and adjudication to ensure members are qualified to hold this particular qualification. Outbound documents are swiftly printed, inserted and mailed to recipients around the nation. Inbound documents are received in mail and fax machines. These are carefully digitized and indexed for inclusion to the TSA database. ILM has to meet stringent security requirements including the handling personally identifiable information.
